Dr. Rakesh Chittora is a well known expert for doing various kinds of bypass surgery (CABG), valve surgery and vascular surgeries.
He has special interest in minimal invasive cardiac surgery (cardiac surgery by small incision), total arterial CABG (Lima-Rima-Y) and valve repair and replacement. He is the Additional Director and Unit Head, CTVS, Fortis Escort Hospital Jaipur who has been associated with the hospital since its very inception in 2007.
He has an experience of working with Dr Naresh Trehan at Escort Hospital, Delhi from 2003 to 2007, where he learnt various advanced technique of bypass surgery and robotic surgery.
He has experience of more than 5000 cardiac surgeries to his credit. He is the only trained cardiac surgeon for endoscopic conduit harvesting in Rajasthan.
He was awarded fellowship of IACTS in 2008. Dr. Chittora had a vast international exposure of attending and presenting research paper at various international conferences.
